1. Introduction

1. This website (trymunshi.com) and the Munshi service are owned and operated by Munshi Technologies ("we", "us" and "our"), a business based in Pakistan. Our registered business address and our office address are the same: E-468/E, Allied Homes, New Iqbal Park, Lahore Cantonment, Lahore, Pakistan.
2. Munshi is an assistant that works inside WhatsApp. You send it a text message or voice note, and it records the tasks, meetings, notes and follow-ups in it and sends you reminders on WhatsApp at the times you ask for (the "Service").
3. We offer this website and the Service, including all information, tools and services available through them, on the condition that you accept all the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. Our Privacy Policy, Refund, Cancellation and Delivery Policy, and Complaints Policy form part of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Applicability and updates

1. By visiting our website, using the Service on WhatsApp and/or paying for it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including the additional policies referenced here. They apply to all users, including visitors, trial users and paying customers.
2. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, able to form a binding contract, and not barred from receiving services under the laws of Pakistan or any other applicable jurisdiction.
3. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website on the date you make a payment applies to that payment. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

3. Your account

• Your Munshi account is linked to the WhatsApp number you use to message us. You do not need a password or a separate app.
• You are responsible for everything sent to Munshi from your WhatsApp number, and for keeping your phone and WhatsApp account secure.
• Reminders are sent only to your own WhatsApp number. Munshi never messages other people on your behalf, even if you name them in a task.

4. Free trial, price and payment

• New users get a free trial of 30 days from their first message. No payment details are needed for the trial.
• After the trial, the Service costs Rs 1,000 for 30 days of access, paid in advance. All features are included. Prices are in Pakistani Rupees and include any charges we are required to add.
• You can pay through Raast, Pakistan's instant bank-to-bank payment system, directly from your bank account or from Easypaisa, JazzCash or any other app that supports Raast, by scanning our QR code or using the payment details shown (such as Raast ID or IBAN). You can also pay by debit / credit card (Visa / Mastercard). Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Safepay. We do not see or store your full card details, bank login, or Easypaisa or JazzCash PIN.
• Each payment buys one 30-day period. It does not renew or charge you automatically. If you pay before your current period ends, the new 30 days are added after your remaining days, so you lose nothing by paying early.
• We may change the price for future periods. Any change will be shown on our website and told to you before you pay; it never affects a period you have already paid for.
• If your access ends, messages you send may be held until you pay. Reminders that were already scheduled will still be delivered.

5. How the Service works and its limits

• Munshi uses automated speech recognition and artificial intelligence to understand your messages. These systems can occasionally mishear or misread a name, time or amount.
• Munshi always replies with what it saved and when it will remind you. Please check that reply; if something is wrong, send the corrected task again.
• Delivery of reminders depends on WhatsApp, your phone and your network. We work hard to deliver every reminder on time but cannot guarantee delivery in every circumstance.
• The Service is a productivity tool. Do not rely on it for medical, emergency, safety-critical or legally time-barred matters.

6. Terms of usage

You may not use the website or the Service:

• for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit others to take part in unlawful acts;
• to violate any international, federal, provincial or local laws, regulations or rules;
• to infringe our intellectual property rights or the rights of others;
• to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate or discriminate against anyone based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin or disability;
• to submit false or misleading information, including in payment;
• to upload or transmit viruses or malicious code, or to interfere with or get around the security of the Service, any related website or the internet;
• to send spam or automated bulk messages, or to collect, track, scrape or crawl the personal information of others; or
• for any obscene or immoral purpose.

We may suspend or terminate your use of the Service if you break any of these rules.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) to send and receive messages, an AI provider (OpenAI) to transcribe and understand messages, and Safepay to process payments. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes in these third-party services, but we will tell you if they affect the Service in a significant way.

8. Intellectual property

This website, the Service and their related software and content (including text, images, designs and the Munshi name and logo) are the intellectual property of and exclusively owned by Munshi Technologies. Their structure, organisation and code contain valuable trade secrets and confidential information. Except as expressly stated here, these Terms and Conditions do not grant you any intellectual property rights, and all rights are reserved by Munshi Technologies. The content of your own messages remains yours.

9. Indemnity and limitation of liability

1. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless us and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, suppliers and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by a third party because of your breach of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
2. We provide the website and the Service "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranty as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information or the Service for any particular purpose, and we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
3. Your use of the website and the Service is at your own risk. It is your responsibility to make sure the Service meets your needs.
4. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including lost business, profit or opportunity, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim.
5. We may decline to accept a payment or activate a period, for example if the Service is no longer available, a payment appears fraudulent, or for reasons outside our control. In that case any amount taken will be refunded under our Refund, Cancellation and Delivery Policy.

10. Termination

We may change, suspend or terminate your access to the Service or this website, with or without notice, if you have: (1) given false or misleading information; (2) interfered with other users or the operation of the Service; (3) been the subject of a request by law enforcement or other government authorities; or (4) otherwise violated these Terms and Conditions. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Severability and waiver

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable; if that is not possible, it will be removed and the rest will remain in full force. If we fail to enforce any of these terms, it will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment or waiver must be in writing and signed by us.

12. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of Lahore (including any consumer court) will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute you have with us.
